Paramount International, Sony Pictures Limited, Universal, Fox and Disney have all specially compiled show reels for broadcast at the event via Saturn’s next generation Trailervision concept. As well as promoting up and coming releases at the end of 2010 and beyond, the multimedia kiosk will provide attendees with an insight into how interactive displays can be used to promote a variety of in-theatre products and services such as retail promotions, loyalty campaigns and alternative content opportunities.

Saturn Launches Cinema Solutions Division with Acquisition of Cinema Scene UK Ltd

Cinema digital signage specialist, Saturn Communications Group Ltd has formed a new Cinema Solutions Division to provide cinema operators with a comprehensive range of customer communication and marketing services that includes digital signage, promotional packaging and a number of digital media initiatives. In forming this division, Saturn has acquired the specialist marketing and packaging company Cinema Scene UK Ltd.

Following a multi-million pound refurbishment of Apollo Cinemas flagship venue in the London West End, Connectvision from Saturn Communications Group has been chosen to provide dynamic content for multimedia plasma displays throughout the cinema. Integrated with the ticketing system, ticket availability, film times, trailers and concessions offers are displayed across 24 screens throughout the cinema. Importantly the Connectvision digital hub software allows the Apollo to customise displays for corporate events at the cinema.

The UK's largest independent cinema exhibitor, Apollo Cinemas, is using Connectvision at its new six screen cinema in Altrincham. In addition to supporting concession sales, film trailers and movie news, Connectvision is also integrated with the Apollo's ticketing system automatically generating up to the second information on film times and seat availability for every film.
